Former Village Head Uses Village Budget As Much As Rp1.3 Billion For Foya-foya, Development Becomes Abandoned
TANGERANG - Former Village Head (Kades) Gembong, Balaraja District, Tangerang Regency, Ahmad Hudori (50) has become a suspect in a corruption case in the village budget worth Rp1.3 billion for the 2018 fiscal year.
Tangerang Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head Kompol Arief N. Yusuf said the former Head of Gembong Village for the 2013-2019 period was arrested in front of Indomaret on Jalan Sunan Kalijaga, Rangkasbitung, Lebak Regency, Monday morning, September 16, 2024.
Ahmad Hudori is suspected of using village finances amounting to Rp1,381,321,563 for personal gain, starting from night entertainment, shopping for clothes, a collection of luxury watches, and paying debts.
"That there are personal benefits received by AH sourced from the Gembong Village Budget for the 2018 fiscal year which are used for night entertainment, shopping for clothes, watches of various brands and paying debts," Arief told reporters at the Tangerang Police, Tangerang Regency, Friday, September 27.
Ahmad Hudori's modus operandi was to make Spj use fake shop bonds, fictitious Silpa deposits, mark up reports, and the non-realization of work resulted in reducing the volume of the project being carried out.

"And some of the work did not realize, resulting in village financial losses for the 2018 fiscal year amounting to Rp1,381,321,563 from withdrawals," he said.
For his actions, Ahmad was charged with Article 2 paragraph (1) and / or Article 3 of Law No. 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of criminal acts of corruption as amended by Law No. 20 of 2001 concerning amendments to Law no. 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of criminal acts of corruption, which occurred in Gembong Village, Balaraja District, Tangerang Regency.
"The suspect is threatened with life imprisonment or for a maximum of 20 years in prison," he concluded
