Dave Grohl Stumbled On Scandal, Foo Fighters Cancels Stage Schedule

JAKARTA - Foo Fighters is scheduled to appear as one of the lineups for the Soundside Music Festival which will be held in Bridgeport, Connecticut, United States this weekend.

However, Dave Grohl's band decided not to appear at the event.

Through a statement on the official Instagram account, Foo Fighters confirmed they would not appear at the Soundside Music Festival.

"FOO FIGHTERS WILL NOT APPEAR ON THE MUSIC SOUNDSIDE FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND," Foo Fighters wrote in an Instagram post, Friday, September 27.

"CONFISCATE SEEING FESTIVAL SITES FOR FURTHER INFORMATION."

The decision was taken after Dave Grohl stumbled into a scandal. The 55-year-old frontman revealed that he had had a baby girl outside of his marriage to Jordyn Blum.

He confirmed that he would be responsible as a father and apologized to his injured family hearing the news.

"I recently became the father of a baby girl who was born out of my marriage," wrote Dave Grohl.

I plan to be a loving and supportive parent for him. I love my wife and children, and I do everything I can to regain their trust and forgiveness," he continued.

Although the announcement of the cancellation of the Foo Fighters appeared at the Soundside Music Festival close to the scandal that befell the vocalist, there was no further statement from the band regarding the reasons for the cancellation.
