Puan Regarding Prabowo Cabinet PDIP Cadres: Whether There Is Or Not Just Wait

JAKARTA - PDIP DPP chairman Puan Maharani is reluctant to comment on the issue that some of her cadres will enter the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government cabinet. Puan asked the public to wait for a decision and announcement from the PDIP.

"Whether to place one of the cadres or not, we'll just have to wait," said Puan at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Friday, September 27.

Currently, continued Puan, PDIP is still focused on preparing for the inauguration of elected DPR RI members for the next period.

Puan said that PDIP had not had time to discuss the names of its cadres who would be included in the Prabowo-Gibran cabinet.

"We haven't talked about the cabinet issue, because we are still focused on the inauguration on October 1, the inauguration of DPR members on October 1," he concluded.

Previously, PDIPOlly General Treasurer Dondokambey gave a signal that his party would join the elected Presidential government, Prabowo Subianto. In fact, he said, the meeting between Prabowo and General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri would be held before October 10, 2024.

"Soon Pak Prabowo will meet with Mrs. Megawati. Most before October 10," said Olly during the inauguration of the winning team for the candidate for the South Minahasa Regent, Franky Donny Wongkar, Thursday, September 26.

During the meeting, Olly said that there would be discussions about the white-nosed bull party into the Prabowo government coalition.

Olly explained that PDIP had decided to be in the coalition with Prabowo after the 2024 presidential election ended.

"So it's not a doubt. The presidential election is over. PDIP is inside with Pak Prabowo," said Olly.
