Tia Rahmania will report Mochamad Hasbi Asyidiki Jayabaya on suspicion of defamation from the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit. The report is related to allegations that Tia has inflated votes in the 2024 Legislative Election (Pileg).
It is known that Tia Rahmania is a politician from the PDI-P who failed to become a member of the DPR RI elected for the 2024-2029 period because it was dropped from the party membership with the bull logo.
"Yes (will report) on suspicion of criminal acts of defamation," said Tia Rahmania's attorney, Jupryanto Purba to VOI, Friday, September 27.
According to Jupryanto, Hasbi was considered to have defamed his client when he said Tia took 251 of her votes.
In fact, during the plenary meeting, 251 votes were returned to Hasbi in accordance with the sub-district-level KPU Minutes.
"Hasbi's 251 votes have been returned to the person concerned before the trial of the Party Court, in accordance with the Sirekal Input Change Report on D as a result of the recapitulation dated February 28," said Jupryanto.
The plan is that Tia Rahmania's report will be carried out today at around 16.00 WIB.
For information, Tia Rahmania was canceled as a member of the DPR for the period 2024-2029 known through the Decree of the General Elections Commission (KPU) Number 1368 dated September 23, 2024.
Tia was replaced byten Triyana, who won the second most votes in the Banten I electoral district.
