Minister Of ATR/BPN Invites Hipmi To Synergize To Build The Indonesian Economy

JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning (ATR)/Head of the National Land Agency (BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) invites the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (Hipmi) to work together in building the Indonesian economy.

"The ATR/BPN Ministry is here to be able to provide legal certainty over land, including firmly facing land mafias. This cannot be alone, it needs synergy, including the presence of Hipmi in the nation's economic development in the future," AHY said at the 2024 East Java Hipmi BPD XV Musda in Surabaya, East Java, quoted from Antara, Thursday, September 26.

In particular, for Hipmi, East Java, the development of the business world will contribute significantly to the local and national economy, considering that this region covers 38 regencies/cities.

"The business world has a very important role. If we want to create jobs and increase income, of course the government has a role in creating climates, ecosystems, as well as managing regulations and bureaucracy that are responsive and adaptive, but a great business world that will change many things," he said.

While Hipmi plays a role in encouraging the business world, the Ministry of ATR/BPN will present legal certainty of land rights for the community and prevent various crimes in the land sector, including those committed by the land mafia.

That way, this synergy is expected to provide a better economic and investment climate, which in the end can realize Indonesia Gold 2045.

On the previous occasion, AHY emphasized the importance of soil governance for economic transformation in Indonesia. According to him, land is a fundamental aspect that has an impact on many things.

"If the land is managed properly, regional spatial planning is also good, then I have confidence, the economy will grow, investment will flow, and public trust will also increase," AHY said at the CNN Indonesia Awards 2024 activity in Surabaya, East Java, yesterday.

He stated that ATR/BPN are committed to enforcing all rules regarding land, including by eradicating land mafias that have suffered the people.

"Justice must be upheld. This is also important to provide an economic climate and investment that is also getting better and can realize Indonesia Gold 2045," he said.
