NIKI Outspokenly Calls The Concert Canceled Because Ticket Sales Are Not On Target

JAKARTA - Niki my brother is currently undergoing Buzz World Tour in the United States. So far, two shows have been canceled, namely in Portland and Minneapolis.

Previously, fans quite busy questioning the reason for the cancellation of the show in Mineeaapolis on social media The singer who is familiarly called NIKI finally spoke up.

"Portland, I'm sorry but unfortunately we had to cancel the show. Minneapolis, I know you want an explanation, so I appreciate your patience when I try to brush from behind the scenes to tell the real reason, rather than say "unexpected situation" I know you have made plans to meet me and whether I'm confused and disappointed," NIKI said in an Instagram Story upload, September 25.

He clearly revealed that the sale of his concert tour ticket in Minneapolis did not reach the target. Even after various efforts, sales figures were still not enough to cover production costs.

"The reality is that we can't sell enough tickets to meet the production costs of the Portland & Minneapolis show this time. Each show has a budget, at a significant cost of opening the room, from venue & security staff, to the band, crew, & production. me, "he said.

NIKI had tried to move the event venue to get around costs, as happened at the Phoenix show, Arizona. But for some schedules, that was not possible.

"Before we made this decision, we reduced ticket prices & increased local promotion & advertising, also considered alternative place options, but were unable to find the right solution for the same date / time period without affecting other tour routes. I know some of you will feel annoyed regardless of this explanation, and I understand it. I am someone who believes in vulnerability and transparency, so I just want to share the truth rather than ignore it, "explained the singer who was born in Jakarta.

"I invited Buzz to tour and I am very proud of the shows we made together. The opportunity to play these songs live is something that has kept me going forward over the past year. I don't blame anyone in this situation and I am very sad for disappointing the fans who bought tickets and made arrangements to see me perform. I promise to come back one day to give the show you deserve. I love you very much. NIKI," he concluded.
