Macau Open 2024: 4 Indonesian Representatives Qualify For The Second Round
JAKARTA Four of the five Indonesian representatives who played on the first day of the Macau Open 2024 managed to secure a ticket to the second round.
Part of the match from the first round of the BWF Super 300 level tournament was completed on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, evening WIB.
Of the five representatives, two men's doubles pairs immediately faced each other, namely Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Daniel Marthin versus Yeremia Rambitan/Rahmat Hidayat.
Fikri/Daniel, who became the eighth seed in this event, were forced to rise from the first game to continue their journey.
In the second round, Fikri/Daniel will meet Nur Mohd Azriyn Ayub Azriyn/Tan Wee Kiong. The Malaysian couple locked the second half ticket after eliminating Chen Bo Yang/Guo Ruo Han from China.

Another men's doubles that qualified for the second half were Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Mohammad Reza Pahlevi Isfahani. The couple got tickets after repatriating the Japanese representative, Tori Aizawa/Daisuke Sano.
In the second half, Sabar/Reza will meet Chinese representatives, Chui He Chen/Peng Jian Qin, who escaped after stopping Choi Sol-gyu/Heo Kwang-hee.
The other two Indonesian tickets were secured by the women's doubles pair Jesita Putri Miantoro/Febi Setianingrum and Arlya Nabila Thesa Manggaran/Az Zahra Ditya Ramadhani. The two pairs both repatriated the Chinese Taipei doubles.
The fifth seed Jesita/Febi reached the second round after winning Hsieh Mi Yen/Huang Tzu-Ling. Their potential opponent in the second round will only play tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Arlya/Zahra beat the Hsu Ya Ching/Sung Yu-Hsuan pair. Furthermore, Arlya/Zahra will be tested eighth seed from China Taipei, Hsieh Pei Shan/Hung En Tzu.
