JAKARTA - Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives made a specific working visit (kunker) to monitor the location of the discovery of seven bodies in Kali Bekasi, Jatiasih, Bekasi City, West Java, Tuesday, September 24.
"Today, we are Commission III in the context of a specific visit, yes, basically we are here to know more about the actual incident," said Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives Habiburokhman shortly before checking the location on the edge of the Bekasi River, which was confiscated by Antara.
He said the specific account to the location on the back of the Al Ikhlas Mosque, Pondok Gede Permai Housing was to investigate cases that have drawn public attention in the last few days.
"We want all of this to be carried out a transparent investigation and check what the background is, until what happens. So we need to see firsthand what the situation here looks like so that there are no assumptions, inappropriate accusations," he said.
Apart from Habiburokhman, on this occasion, other members of Commission III of the DPR RI were also present, namely Arteria Dahlan, Nazaruddin Dek Gam, Heru Widodo, Muhammad Rahul, to Wayan Sudirta.

Previously, residents found seven bodies floating in Bekasi River, precisely behind the Al Ikhlas Mosque, Pondok Gede Permai Housing, Jatiasih, Bekasi City on Sunday, September 22 at 06.00 WIB and reported at 07.00 WIB.
The police said the discovery of the seven bodies was allegedly due to a brawl. Moreover, at that time the police were on patrol to prevent the incident.
Police have arrested 15 suspects and three of them carry sharp weapons.
