Florence Pugh Becomes The Main Character In Thunderbolts' First Trailer, Released 2025

JAKARTA - Marvel Studio released the first trailer for the film Thunderbolts, the latest story from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). In this film, a number of supporting characters from the previous film will unite to carry out a secret mission.

The trailer begins with the character Yelena Belova, played by Florence Pugh, coming to Alexei, played by David Harbor. They approached the government office which apparently trapped them to join an operation representing the American government.

Everyone here is doing bad things. Shadow operations, robbing government laboratories, killing... someone wants us to leave," Florence Pugh said in the trailer.

"We were brought here to believe that there are good people and bad people but you will realize that there are bad people and there are worse people, and nothing else," said Louis-Dreyfus.

The three-minute trailer ended with Yelena being chased by Bucky, played by Sebastian Stan.

Thunderbolts is also played by Olga Kurylenko, Hannah John-Kamen, total Russell, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Lewis Pullman. They are villaines from several Marvel films such as Black Widow, Ant-Man and the Wasp, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Thunderbolts is adapted from the comic by Kurt Busiek of the same name and directed by Jake Schreier. The script was written by Eric Pearson, Lee Sung Jin, and Joanna Calo.

Kevin Feige along with several names became producers, including actress Scarlett Johansson who returned to work with Marvel after a conflict.

The film Thunderbolts is the closing of the phase five of the MCU which will air in 2025 with the film Captain America: Brave New World.

The film Thunderbolts will hit theaters in May 2025.
