Macau Open 2024: Leo/Bagas Absen Pair
JAKARTA The men's doubles pair Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana are not on the list of 10 Indonesian representatives who will compete at the Macau Open 2024 this week.
The Super 300 BWF level tournament will be held at the Macau East Asian Games Dome on September 24-29, 2024.
The Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) has officially released representatives who will compete in the event. However, Leo/Bagas is not included in the fire.
The couple previously won the Korea Open 2024. This result is the first title for Leo/Bagas since their composition with Daniel Marthin and Muhammad Shohibul Fikri was overhauled.
Meanwhile, Fikri/Daniel were also sent to the Macau Open 2024. The couple was accompanied by Yeremia Rambitan/Rahmat Hidayat and Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Mohammad Reza Pahlevi Isfahani.

The three pairs made the men's doubles into sectors with the most representatives in Macau. Then, there are women's and men's singles as well as women's doubles, each of which has two representatives.
In the first round, Tuesday, September 24, 2024, Fikri/Daniel immediately met their compatriots, Yeremia/Rahmat. Patience/Reza will also play on the first day against Tori Aizawa/Daisuke Sano (Japan).
One other representative who will participate is Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja. This mixed doubles pair previously reached the semifinals of the China Open 2024 last week.
In total there are five Indonesian representatives who will play on the first day of tomorrow's tournament. In addition to the three men's doubles above, two representatives from the women's doubles will also appear.
