Prosecutors Call Former Husband Slashes Nurse At Bhayangkara Hospital Ambon Due To Refusing To Be Invited To Referr

JAKARTA - The Ambon District Court (PN) held the first trial of the case of mistreatment of a nurse at the Bhayangkara Ambon Hospital with the defendant Andika Tuasalamony which had gone viral on social media (medsos).

During the trial, the prosecutor said that the defendant Andika was stabbing the victim, his ex-wife, Asma Ulhusna Lestaluhu. However, Asma parried it by hand.

"At that time the victim had just returned from work at Bhayangkara Tantui Hospital in Ambon and was about to return to his home in Tulehu Village, Salahutu District (Ambon Island), Central Maluku Regency," said the prosecutor.

This incident occurred in the Jalan Suli Atas Village area, Salahutu District, Ambon Island, Central Maluku Regency, Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 22.00 WIT

It is known that the defendant and the victim have been separated for about two years. However, the defendant hopes to reconcile but the victim already has a girlfriend, causing jealousy.

However, when he arrived at the scene, the defendant who appeared from behind the victim immediately stabbed and fled.

The victim, who suffered injuries to his hand, immediately stopped and sat limp on the side of the road until someone passed by and took him to Dr. Ishak Umarella Tulehu Hospital for medical help.

Meanwhile, the victim's family reported the incident to the Salahutu Police.

"For this act, the defendant was charged with violating Article 351 Paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code," said the prosecutor.

The panel of judges postponed the trial until next week with the agenda of hearing the statements of the witnesses presented by the prosecutor.
