Citroen Make Sure To Add EV Charging Facilities In Indonesia

JAKARTA - The national automotive industry is currently decorated by various brands that offer environmentally friendly electric vehicles (EVs). Of course, the presence of this segment in the country must be accompanied by an adequate ecosystem.

Citroen is one of the brands that provides an electric vehicle model by offering e-C3 and has been produced locally (CKD). Well, how is the preparation of this brand from France in providing this ecosystem?

Aftersales Department Head of PT Indomobil National Distributor Andre Oktavianus, said that every outlet presented by Citroen has a charging station with a power of 11 kW.

Not only that, EV consumers who carry out maintenance and service at the official outlet will be given the service until the battery charged reaches 50 percent.

"In our standard, there is only one charge in each network. So, if there are EV consumers who are serviced in our place with batteries below 50 percent, then we have to fill in up to 50 more," said Andre when met at TB Simatupang, Jakarta, Saturday, September 21.

Nevertheless, Andre added that his party did not rule out the possibility of increasing the number of charging facilities in Indonesia in the future depending on the condition of the national market.

"Later we will add more services along with the dynamics of the Indonesian market. If it is needed, we will expand it," added Andre.

He also explained that currently Citroen already has 22 official outlet networks in Indonesia with eleven of them in the Jabodetabek area and already has its own charging station.

"We currently have eleven services in Jabodetabek, so I think that's a lot," explained Andre.

Not long ago, PT Indomobil National Distribution inaugurated the 'Citroen Experience Center' service at TB Simatupang, South Jakarta. This facility carries design standardization from global Citroen which is intended to reach consumers in the South Jakarta area and its surroundings.

This is the fourth Citroen Experience Center network to be present in Indonesia after being on Jl. MT Haryono, Jl. Halim Perdana Kusuma, and Pantai Indah Kapuk which was inaugurated some time ago.

This facility has a building area measuring about 1,000 m2 located on Jl RA Kartini II-S Kav. 7, Pondok Pinang, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta.

With a design inspired by everyday life, lounges at the Citrotan Experience Center combine comfort, innovation, and technology, and offer a calming atmosphere like at home.

Citroen Experience Center TB Simatupang provides various units including e-C3 and C3 Aircross and provides test drive units that can be tested directly by visitors.

This dealer also provides an EV charging pile facility service, making it easier for Citroen e-C3 owners to charge. In addition, there is a special floor that functions as a stockyard or vehicle unit storage area.
