SBY Returns On Day Three Of The 2024 Party To Painting On Stage

JAKARTA - After appearing at the first day of the 2024 Party, the Sixth President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) returned to the third day of the event which took place at Gambir Expo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta on Sunday, September 22.

SBY's presence was not for singing, he came to show his skills in painting. On the Klab Club Stage stage, he painted the view of Mount Lawu witnessed by many people.

"I will draw a natural scene in Indonesia. There is one mountain, Mount Lawu in Central Java, from Ponorogo," said SBY.

He gave the painting the title 'Sunset Over Mount Lawu'.

The moment of painting was guided by Vincent and Desta. SBY uses a large brush to paint. While painting the brush on the canvas, he also gave several explanations.

"Using big brushes, large brushes, no details, the important thing is to describe the dusk of Mount Lawu," said SBY.

SBY also revealed the reason why he often draws beautiful views of Indonesian nature.

"This is a bit philosophical. In this world there are a lot of problems, but remember that God brings natural beauty to us, in the midst of world uproar," he said.

There is calm there. Everything flows unplanned, planned. Just follow your heart, your feeling. Just want to paint, paint anywhere, don't be afraid. Art is freedom, just dare," he said.
