Appearing At The 2024 Party, SBY Gives A Message To Protect Nature Through Songs For Our Earth

JAKARTA - The 6th President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono appeared at the 2024 Party with popular Indonesian musicians. Among the musicians, namely Sandy Sandoro, Joy Tobing, Yuni Shara, Ario Wahab, Lala Mikhala, Ita Purnamasari, Rio Rebrian, to Andi /RIF.

SBY's appearance opened with the song Pelangi Dihitung from Jamrud which drew applause and screams from the audience who also sang along, and was carried away by the song he performed.

Another song performed by SBY is You Are Not Alone from the band Type-X and Remember Me from Naff which is said to be one of the beautiful songs for him.

I want to perform a song full of memories. This song was created by Odeu Wijaya Naff, the song is beautiful,'sad song but beautiful song' and we all know, namely Remember Me,' he said.

Then, with orchestral music accompaniment, SBY and other singers performed a song created entitled Untuk Bumi Kita, and the Light of Darkness. SBY conveyed a message to care for and protect the earth for the sake of future generations through a song he composed entitled For Earth Kita.

The song was born after he received an invitation to Europe about fighting climate change and global warming.

I was invited to Norway, Europe, to work together with world leaders to fight climate change and global warming. Returning from Norway, on the way back to Jakarta, I created one song, which I finally named For Our Earth," said SBY when appearing at the 2024 Party music festival at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Friday, September 21.

Moreover, according to SBY, current climate change is uncertain, so protecting the earth from existing threats is important so that later it can be enjoyed by children and grandchildren in the future.

SBY's song For Bumi Kita was apparently sung not only by Indonesian musicians, but also attracted the attention of musicians from abroad.

Indeed, the lyrics of the song composed by SBY about the earth have meaning and a deep meaning about maintaining the health of the earth, as reflected in the lyrics that seem to be a reminder to the audience. This makes the song have an English version entitled Save Our Wold.

Coldplay's Yellow song was sung together to cover SBY's performance at the 2024 Party music festival.
