Jogja-Solo Toll Road Officially Operates Today, Jasa Marga Diverts Colomadu GT Transactions

JAKARTA - PT Jasamarga Solo Ngawi (JSN) as the manager of the Solo-Ngawi toll road diverts transactions at the Colomadu Toll Gate (GT). This diversion aims to support the integration of the Solo-Ngawi and Jogja-Solo toll roads which have just been inaugurated.

"With the operation of the Jogja-Solo Toll Road, transaction services at GT Colomadu will be eliminated. This means that road users do not tap transactions at GT Colomadu, but are transferred to GT Banyudono," said President Director of PT JSN Mery Natacha Panjaitan in a written statement, quoted Friday, September 20.

Starting Friday, September 20, 2024 at 00.00 WIB, PT JSN shifted transactions at GT Colomadu and was transferred to GT Banyudono on the Jogja-Solo Toll Road 2 kilometers (km) from GT Colomadu. Toll road users who previously made transactions at GT Colomadu are currently still subject to the same tariff when the transaction at GT Banyudono.

As a simulation, trips from Semarang to Kartasura for Class I vehicles through GT Banyudono are subject to a tariff of Rp93,000. On the other hand, road users from Kartasura to Semarang only tapping at GT Banyudono.

For trips from Surabaya to Kartasura, Class I vehicles through GT Banyudono are subject to a tariff of Rp322,000. On the other hand, road users from Kartasura to Surabaya will also tap at GT Banyudono.

The toll tariff has not been implemented because there is no Decree of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) regarding the tariff for the Jogja-Solo Toll Road.

Previously, PT JSN had operated 8 toll gates, including GT Colomadu, Adi Soemarmo Airport GT, Ngemplak GT, Gondangrejo GT Karanganyar, Sragen GT, East Sragen GT and Ngawi GT.

After connecting with the Jogja-Solo Toll Road section, PT JSN only operates 7 toll gates by eliminating transaction operations at GT Colomadu.
