New EV Brand From China Avatr Ready To Enter England By The End Of 2025 With This Model
JAKARTA - A number of electric vehicle manufacturers from China are expanding into the blue continent market. Most recently, Avatr will expand its market, one of which is to the UK starting at the end of 2025.
The announcement comes as Avatr unveiled its first right steering model, named 11. The model is said to have a size like the BMW X5. The SUV will be assembled at Changan's new factory in Thailand.
We believe that we can make Thailand a stepping stone to Avatr's globalization strategy. We will expand to other Southeast Asian countries and the global right-handed car market," said President Avatr Chen Zhuo, quoted by Autocar, Friday, September 20.
Meanwhile, the brand already has its own design studio in Munich which was founded in 2021. Avatr's expansion in Europe is also made easier with the parent company, Changan has a sales and marketing base in the region.

This car was built on the EP1 platform from Changan with a voltage of 750V. Avatr 11 has a four-wheeled drive (4WD) powered by a double electric motor that produces 570 dk of power and 649 Nm of torque.
In the land of white elephants, Avatr 11 is priced from 2.09 million baht or equivalent to Rp. 954 million to 2.23 million baht or around Rp. 1.017 billion while placing it in the premium EV segment.
In addition to 11, the brand, which was founded in 2018, plans to produce a sedan called 12 and an SUV called 7 which is smaller in size.
Avatr Technology Co., Ltd is a joint venture between Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL and was founded in 2018. Now, the brand of this bamboo curtain country is based in Chongqing City, China.
