Send Message To Hezbollah Leader, Commander Of Iran's Elite Troops: We Will Watch The Destruction Of The Blood Haus Regime

JAKARTA - Israel will face a "destroying response from the resistance axis", Iranian Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) Commander Major General Hossein Salami told Hezbollah Leader Hassan Nasrallah on Thursday according to state media, after the attack on the Lebanese-based militant group's communications devices.

The resistance axis refers to the armed group that sided with Iran in the Middle East, including the Lebanese Hezbollah, Yemeni Houthis and the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces.

Lebanon and Hezbollah blamed Israel for attacks on Tuesday and Wednesday that killed 37 people and injured about 3,000 people, although Israel has not directly commented on the attack, which a security source said was likely carried out by the Mossad spy agency.

"The actions of such terrorists are undoubtedly the result of the continuous despair and failure of the Zionist regime (Israel). This will soon be met with a devastating response from the axis of resistance and we will witness the destruction of this blood-hungry and criminal regime," Major General Salami said in his message to Nasrallah., reported by Reuters on September 20.

Iran and Israel often threaten each other with the destruction of their respective regimes, after decades of tensions that culminated with Iran, which directly launched drones and missiles into Israel last April, in response to Israel's deadly attack on the Iranian Embassy compound in Syria.

Earlier, Nasrallah, speaking on Thursday, said the deadly attack that blew up Hezbollah's radio and pager "passed all red lines" and "can be called a declaration of war."
