Jeep Releases Wrangler 2025, Manual Transmission Available For V6 Machines

JAKARTA - The United States (US) auto brand, Jeep officially announced the presence of Wrangler model in 2025 with enhanced offroad capabilities combining with advanced features for Uncle Sam's country market.

Launching from Jeep's official website, Thursday, September 19, Wrangler 2025 is available with pure ICE variants consisting of Sport, Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X, and Rubicon 392.

Meanwhile, the brand also provides plug-in hybrid (PHEV) or 4xe versions of this iconic model including Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X, and High Altitude. PHEV drivers are only available in four-door styles.

Just like before, the model was built with a body-on-frame design with a suspension system of five front and rear links along with a sturdy grid.

To meet true offroad needs, Jeep is offering a full-float fund back double with a capacity of 8,000 pounds or 3.6 tons and has been installed in the factory. Then, Wrangler also has a maximum crane capability of 5,000 pounds (2.2 tons) with a maximum cruising ratio of up to 100:1.

Entering the interior, Wrangler is equipped with a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen as a standard with a wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The front jockey is coated with customizable 12-direction Nappa skin.

This tough-style car also has advanced features that make it easier for drivers, such as Blind-Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Path Detection, and Adaptive Cruise Control.

Jeep also provides various attractive options in the engine section. For 2025, this brand includes a 3.6 liter Pentastar option paired with a manual transmission of six accelerations exclusively. Thus, this provides 285 dk of power and 352 Nm of torque.

Then, the brand also provides the 2.0 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder option as a basic option. This is coupled to the transmission of eight accelerations with 270 dk of power and 400 Nm of torque.

The brand also provides a 6.4 liter V8 engine capable of vomiting 470 dk of power and 637 Nm of torque. The performance is combined with the transmission of eight automatic accelerations.

The PHEV 4xe version has a 2.0 liter turbocharged engine combined with eight automatic acceleration transmissions with a double electric motor yielding 375 dk output power and 637 Nm torque.

Wrangler 4xe 2025 also has a battery of 17 kWh with a voltage of 400V lithium-ion which provides range with pure electric power of up to 21 miles or 33 km in one charge.

However, Jeep has not disclosed the price of Wrangler 2025. The SUV is offered with Anvil's exterior colors, Black, Bright White, Fathom Blue, Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal, Hydro Blue, and the latest options 41.
