Visiting Residents, Sahrul Gunawan Participates In Monitoring After The Bandung Earthquake
BANDUNG - Bandung was hit by an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 that hit the Bandung Regency, West Java, Wednesday, September 19 yesterday.
"As of today at 08.00 WIB, the total number of affected houses is 4,483 units spread across six cities and regencies," said West Java BPBD Expert Public Relations Officer Hadi Rahmat, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, September 19.
Hadi said that until now the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) from districts/cities is still identifying the level of damage and data collection of other impacts after the earthquake.
Of these, he continued, the most damage occurred in Bandung Regency as many as 3,283 houses, then Garut Regency 1,195 houses, West Bandung Regency three houses, Cimahi City one house, Purwakarta Regency one house, and Bogor Regency one house.

Deputy Regent of Bandung, Sahrul Gunawan was seen participating in monitoring the development of the people affected by the earthquake. He came to the victims to see the needs of the refugee community being met.
"The impact is quite large," said Sahrul Gunawan.
"Currently, it is still recorded how many were affected by the earthquake," he continued.
He was also seen visiting the refugee post which looked happy to see Sahrul Gunawan. In addition, he also appreciated the steps taken by the authorities in dealing quickly.
