The Fast Train! Back To Operation, The Line Was Declared Safe After The Bandung Earthquake

JAKARTA - Halim and Tegalluar Summarecon's journey is back in operation starting at 15.02 WIB.

This can be done after the inspection is carried out, and the route is declared to be accessible at a limited speed.

KCIC General Manager Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa said KCIC apologized for the inconvenience that had occurred after previously several Schedules had been temporarily suspended due to an earthquake measuring 5 SR in the Bandung Regency area and repeated up to 8 aftershocks.

Travel delays are related to thorough inspections including areas outside the rail line for fear of landslides or other potential external disturbances that have an impact on the railway line.

"Currently, God willing, the journey will gradually be operated at a limited speed, which is a maximum of 160kmh, the goal is to further ensure the safety of God's journey after the inspection. With this adjustment, the journey from Halim to Padalarang will be 55 minutes and arrive in Tegalluar to 75 minutes," said Eva, Wednesday, September 18.
