Investigate MBZ Toll Corruption, AGO Examines Resident Engineer For 2017-2020 Period

The Attorney General's Office (AGO) continues to investigate the alleged corruption case of the construction of the Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) II toll road in the Cikunir section to West Karawang or known as MBZ.

Most recently, investigators examined the Resident Engineer for the Japek II Elevated Project for the 2017-2020 period.

"The witness being examined has the initials THL," said Head of the AGO, Harli Siregar in his statement, Tuesday, September 17.

The examination of the THL took place at the Directorate of Investigation of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) on Tuesday, September 17.

A series of witness examinations were carried out aimed at strengthening the evidence and completing the filing in the case.

"The investigation was carried out for the suspect DP," said Harli.

In handling this case, the AGO is known to have named five suspects, one of whom has the initials DP as Waskita-Acset's operational cooperation (KSO) power.

In this case, DP is suspected of violating the provisions of Article 2 Paragraph 1 Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of the Corruption Eradication Law in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, the other four suspects are the President Director (Director) of Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek (JJC) Djoko Dwijono, Chairman of the Auction Committee PT JJC Yudhi Mahyudin, Director of Operations of PT Bukaka Teknik Utama Sofiah Balfas, and former Expert Staff of the PT LAPI Ganeshama Consulting Bridge, Tony Budianto Sihite.

The four of them have undergone a judicial process. Where, the panel of judges sentenced them to 4 years in prison
