Deputy Minister: Utilization Of Technology Is The Key To Strengthening Agricultural Products
JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Agriculture (Wamentan) Sudaryono said the use of technology services is the key as well as the main force in strengthening local Indonesian products, especially those related to the agricultural sector.
"I always say that technology makes it difficult. Therefore, I want to meet this business to increase our strength in prioritizing the interests of Indonesia and the interests of the people in the future," said Deputy Minister Sudaryono in the VIII P3DN Business Meeting which was held at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Banten, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, September 17.
Through technology, continued Wamentan, the government wants to create more entrepreneurs or people who can directly contribute to Indonesia's development in the future, one of which is the agricultural industry which is currently growing rapidly.
"We want to create more new rich people to foster and grow industrial industries that do not have sufficient. The key is vision, mission, planning and execution. So so far, our weaknesses are in monitoring and evaluation. So this activity must be fully oriented towards the benefits and interests of the community," he also said.
He explained that the use of technology has been able to bring government services to a more transparent level so that the impact can be felt directly by the wider community, so collaboration between the central and regional governments is needed.
"We must strengthen the collaboration both in the central and regional governments. Why? Because we are one unit. Remember, Indonesia is not only where we sit now. Sometimes we forget that Indonesia is from the end of Aceh to Papua and we must pay attention to everything," he said.
