Labfor Polda East Java Investigate Comboran Malang Market Fire
The East Java Regional Police Forensic Laboratory Team conducted a crime scene (TKP) to investigate the cause of the fire at the Comboran Market or Baru Barat Market on Jalan Prof.Moch Yamin, Klojen District, Malang City.
TKP by a team from the East Java Regional Police Forensic Laboratory was confirmed by the Head of the Klojen Sector Police, Kompol Syabain Rahmad Kusriyanto.
"Those who have come to the Comboran Market from the East Java Regional Police Forensic Laboratory," said Syabain, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 17.
Separately, the Head of the Public Relations Section of the Malang City Police, Ipda Yudi Risdiyanto, stated that the Labfor Team checked all components in the Comboran Market, including the electricity of the building.
"Earlier, it was carried out at 12.30 WIB, all of them were checked when processing the crime scene to determine the origin of the fire point that caused the fire," he said.
TKP by the East Java Police Labfor Team was only carried out today. "Today, the laboratory team has seven people who come," he said.

The Comboran Market fire occurred on Friday (13/9) night at around 19.30 WIB. The fire appeared to eat up the sides of the second and third floors of the building.
The location that caught fire was a place to sell used clothes and there were also several coffee shops.
Dozens of firefighters not only came from Malang City, but also from Malang Regency and volunteers struggled to extinguish the fire.
The police confirmed that when the fire broke out, none of the traders were carrying out activities, the market was already closed.
The incident also caused 10 cars parked on the fourth floor of the Comboran Market to be burned, one damaged, and two others rescued.
At around 20.27 WIB the fire was successfully extinguished and officers carried out wetting activities to prevent the emergence of fire coal from the rest of the burning goods.
