Accompanied By Tears And Applause, Sri Mulyani Says Goodbye During A Meeting With The DPR Banggar
Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati expressed her gratitude and said goodbye to members of the Indonesian House of Representatives at the closing meeting of the Level I Discussion on the 2025 State Budget Bill with the Budget Agency (Banggar) of the Indonesian House of Representatives.
Meanwhile, when Sri Mulyani gave her closing statement, the tears of emotion broke out with a standing approach accompanied by members of the Banggar DPR RI who were present.
With shaking and sobs, Sri Mulyani said her term of office would end under the leadership of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin.
"Today is the point, the point where I ended my duties from the cabinet under the leadership of President Joko Widodo and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin," he explained at the Banggar Meeting of Level I Discussions on the 2025 State Budget Bill at the Parliament Complex of the Indonesian Parliament, Tuesday, September 17.
Sri Mulyani emphasized that the struggle to create justice and prosperity of all Indonesian people has not stopped and is over.

"I would like to convey on a good occasion, in addition to thanking and giving high appreciation to the DPR, the Budget Agency, but also to our team at the Ministry of Finance, starting from Deputy Minister of Finance Suahasil Nazara and Thomas Djiwandono, and all Echelon-1 officials and all implementers," he said.
Sri Mulyani said that all of her staff in the Ministry of Finance had worked hard with the professionalism and integrity that was maintained to ensure that the APBN was designed, implemented, and properly accounted for.
"I hope that all these contributions and indications have contributed to building Indonesia, thank you to everyone. Thank you," he said.
