Megawati: The World Needs Cooperation In Overcoming Geopoliticals And Global Warming
JAKARTA - The fifth President of the Republic of Indonesia, Megawati Soekarnoputri, stated that it is time for countries to seek breakthroughs in international cooperation, especially with various geopolitical issues and global warming in today's world.
Megawati conveyed this by looking at various world problems such as the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Israel with Palestine, the Taiwan Strait, the Korean peninsula, to the issue of global warming.
"With the various geopolitical and global warming issues above, it is time for us to seek breakthroughs in international cooperation," Megawati said in a statement in Jakarta, Monday.
Megawati is worried that there will be a food crisis due to global warming and its huge ecological impact on mankind.

The chairman of the BRIN Steering Committee also expressed concern about the international system increasingly shifting to the hegemony war and forgetting the importance of social and humanitarian solidarity.
"I am also increasingly worried about the emergence of a new style of colonialism model through the use of economic strength, food, and technological excellence, as well as international law as a 'hegemony development tool'," explained Megawati.
Megawati also emphasized that Pancasila could become the gateway and lifestyle of the new world system.
"Equality, justice, and prosperity together and the safety of the earth must be our creation. A new world order must be realized by closely cooperating with all international forces," he said.
Therefore, Megawati invites each other to join hands in brotherhood in the world by prioritizing dialogue with the framework of humanity.
"We are citizens of an equal nation and have a responsibility in maintaining the survival of the world, as I said earlier there was only one earth with its entire civilization," he said.
