Ahead Of The Implementation Of The PDP Law, Kominfo Claims To Be Serious In Maintaining Citizens' Personal Data
JAKARTA - Ahead of the enactment of the Personal Data Protection Act (PDP) in October, the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology admits that it will be very serious about protecting citizens, especially in terms of personal data protection.
Meskipun demikian, Menkominfo Budi Arie Setiadi juga bersama-sama mengajak semua stakeholder dan juga masyarakat untuk turut dalam menjaga data pribadinya masing-masing.
Because according to Budi, this is the same as taking care of our own homes, where we must also actively maintain our personal data so that it is not easily misused by irresponsible parties.

"That's why I say, be careful with our personal data, just like parables, we also have to protect our own houses. So personal data must too. We urge the public to jointly protect personal data, not to provide personal data for unnecessary things," Budi said at the launch of the Cyber Security Capability Strengthening Program for One Million Digital Talents on Thursday, September 12.
In addition to appealing to maintaining personal data, Budi also stated that Kominfo will continue to carry out literacy and education to the public regarding the importance of maintaining personal data.
"Later, we will also conduct literacy to the public, because the most important thing is to maintain our own data, so people need education, don't give careless things," he said.
