Reported To Bawaslu, Acting Mayor Of Tangerang Gives Clarification

TANGERANG - Acting Mayor of Tangerang, Nurdin spoke up regarding the report reported by the Director of the Public Policy Institute (LKP) Ibnu Jandi to the Tangerang City Bawaslu.

He clarified the public's accusations that the Acting Mayor of Tangerang facilitated the visit of Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives Achmad Dimyati to the Tangerang City Government Center (Puspem), last Monday, September 9.

Nurdin said that his visit to Achmad Dimyati to his area was only a form of official agenda from the DPR RI Commission II.

It is known that Andra Soni and Dimyanti are Banten Governor Candidates (Cagub) who are fighting in the 2024 Pilkada.

"The Regional Government (Pemerintah Daerah Kota Tangerang) received an official visit from the DPRI in accordance with the assignment letter and the rundown of the event submitted," said Nurdin when confirmed, Wednesday, September 11.

When asked about his report, he admitted that he did not have a problem with it. Because according to him it is the right of all the people.

"I think the report. It is the right of every citizen to express their opinion. Of course, the local government is ready to clarify if needed," he concluded.
