"Seperti yang ditonton memang menjadi pertandingan sangat sulit. Bisabila kami memang terangkap terus. Jika melihat mental lawan Australia, (permain kami) bagus," kata Shin Tae Yong dalam konferensi pers usai pertandingan.
"The players have worked hard. We just have to move forward. Teams that inevitably will continue to grow. So, I want to thank the players," said the coach.
On the same occasion, Shin Tae-yong also commented on the Indonesian national team's game. Shin admitted that his team did tend to survive by relying on counterattacks through Ragnar Oratmangoen's appearance.
Ragnar did appear to be the spearhead after his tandem, Rafael Struick, came out because his condition was not 100 percent fit.
"Obviously the Australian team is better than us, starting from the physical. So, like it or not, we have to defend first and then counterattack."
"For striker Rafael Struick (which should have become tandem) was indeed injured after the match against Saudi Arabia. So, until it was considered playing or not and finally played. However, his condition was not good, he was finally replaced after the first half was over," said Shin Tae-yong.
Regarding overcoming this situation in the upcoming match, Shin Tae-yong said he would try his best. Currently, he said that the coating in the squad was still lacking after the inaugural match against Saudi Arabia.
"Furthermore, the matter of tactics and strategy will definitely be better if the layer of players gets better and develops," said the coach.
