Dividend Target Increases To IDR 90 Trillion But Fixed Budget, Erick Thohir: Maybe This Is Our Trial
JAKARTA - The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) received a budget ceiling for 2025 of IDR 277.50 billion. The amount of the budget obtained by the Ministry of SOEs has been approved between the government and Commission VI of the DPR RI.
The 2025 budget ceiling for the Ministry of SOEs amounting to Rp277.50 billion decreased when compared to the 2024 budget of Rp284 billion.
SOE Minister Erick Thohir expressed his gratitude for the support from Commission VI of the Indonesian House of Representatives to the Ministry of SOEs. Although the 2025 budget is set the same as Rp227.50 billion, the dividend target installed is Rp90 trillion.
"The Ministry of SOEs would like to thank you for the support and of course as previously stated, with the efforts we have done together, yes, the budget is indeed fixed, but the dividend target has increased to Rp90 trillion," he said in a working meeting with Commission VI of the DPR, at the DPR Building, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 11.
"So yes, maybe this is part of the trials for us in BUMN," he continued.
At the meeting in early September, Erick Thohir also asked for an additional budget for 2025 of IDR 66 billion. With this addition, the indicative ceiling of the Ministry of SOEs reached IDR 344 billion.
According to Erick, the budget ceiling provided is not comparable to the achievements and contributions that have been made by the Ministry of SOEs.
"This is certainly not comparable to the achievements that have been pushed by Commission VI or the achievements we have carried out so far," he said during a working meeting with Commission VI of the DPR, at the DPR Building, Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Monday, September 2.
Furthermore, Erick said that the additional budget of Rp. 66 billion was a small number compared to the contribution made by SOEs to the state.
