Ridwan Kamil Rejected By Jakarta Residents, JK: Ordinary Things, There Are Pros And Cons
JAKARTA - The 10th and 12th Vice Presidents of the Republic of Indonesia Jusuf Kalla responded to a number of Jakarta residents who refused Ridwan Kamil to become candidates for governor of Jakarta.
A number of residents voiced their rejection of the arrival of the gubernatorial candidate from the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Plus during several visits to the region.
According to JK, rejection of support is common, especially in election candidates, both elections and regional elections.
"Yes, that's the election, the regional election, some are pros and cons. It's normal. Some refuse to accept it," said JK at his residence, Jalan Brawijaya Raya, South Jakarta, Monday, September 9 evening.
The chairman of the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) also suggested that people choose the cagub-cawagub pair whose ideas are in accordance with their aspirations. "Yes, so just choose the best," said JK.
Furthermore, JK also commented on the candidate group 3. This movement was motivated by the third figure of Jakarta governors who did not comply with the wishes of a group of people, especially supporters of Anies Baswedan.
"Of course people should choose the best, lah. Don't be emotional, lah. That there is emotion, for sure. But I think if later we see how he (cagub-cawagub) provides insight into ideas, people will choose their own," explained JK.
The moment of rejection of a number of residents to Ridwan Kamil has happened twice in recent times. On September 1, RK was cheered up while attending Haul's way at Mbah Priok's grave, North Jakarta.
