KPU Penajam Asks 4 Candidate Pairs For Regent And Deputy Regent To Fix Requirement Files

The General Election Commission of North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan, has asked four candidates for regent and deputy regent in the 2024 Pilkada to improve the incomplete nomination requirements documents.

North Penajam Paser Regency KPU member Mochammad Misran said the candidate candidate nomination documents uploaded to the Candidate Information System (Silon) had been declared complete.

"However, there are administrative files that need to be corrected," added a member of the North Penajam Paser Regency KPU Organizing Division as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, September 7.

The files that need to be fixed, such as the files are not fitted with stamps, then the Strata Satu (S1) diploma is not uploaded, but the master's degree diploma is uploaded.

This year's factual verification of nomination files for regional head elections (pilkada) is different from the 2018 Pilkada.

For factual verification of the diploma of prospective head candidates in the 2024 Pilkada, it is not required to verify directly to educational institutions or universities and schools according to the diploma submitted by prospective candidates.

"For the 2018 Pilkada, in technical instructions there is a special schedule for field verification for diplomas, but the 2024 Pilkada technical guidelines are only administrative verification, unless there is any doubt about the diploma of the prospective candidate, then field clarification is carried out," he said.

Four candidates for regent and deputy regent who registered for the Pilkada of North Penajam Paser Regency, namely the Mudyat Noor-Abdul Waris Muin pair, Hamdam Pongrewa-Ahmad Basir, Andi Harahap-Dayang Donna Faroek, and Desmon Hariman Sormin-Naspi Arsyad.
