MPV BYD Denza D9 Will Be Launched In Malaysia Early 2025, When Will Indonesia?
JAKARTA - Build Your Dreams (BYD) ensures that one of the electricity MPVs for Denza D9 will enter the Malaysian market at the beginning of next year or around the first quarter of 2025.
Launching from Paultan, Saturday, September 7, this car was previously introduced in neighboring countries in July this year. Unfortunately, the specifications and more detailed information on this vehicle for the Malaysian market have not yet been disclosed.
Denza D9 was first launched in China in 2022 by offering various drivers, ranging from Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) to Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV).
The basic specifications of the Denza D9 BEV for the outside market are equipped with electric motors installed in front, producing 313 ps of power and 360 Nm of torque so that they can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour in just 9.5 seconds.

This Chinese manufacturer also offered the AWD variant for this luxury MPV by adding an electric motor measuring 61 ps and a torque of 110 Nm on the back which provided a combined power of 374 ps and 470 Nm torque.
Thus, this allows it to run from 0 to 100 km/hour in 6.9 seconds or faster than the basic variant.
Both offer a 103 kWh capacity battery that provides a range of 620 km at the base type and 600 km for the AWD variant. The power center can also be supported by fast charging of DC up to 166 kW.
Meanwhile, the PHEV variant in this car is supported by a DM-i powertrain system with a 1.5 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder 139 ps engine and a 231 Nm torque combined with an electric motor of 231 ps and a 340 Nm torque. Meanwhile, the AWD version is added an electric motor behind with a power of 61 ps and a torque of 110 Nm.
This model also managed to hold the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024 in February at the BYD booth accompanied by the presence of Dolphin, Atto 3, and Seal.
