Police Arrest Persecutor Of Online Taxi Driver In Palangka Raya
PALANGKA RAYA - Palangka Raya City Police (Polresta), Central Kalimantan arrested the perpetrators of the abuse of a viral online taxi driver.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Palangka Raya Police, Kompol Ronny M Nababan, said the perpetrator who molested an online taxi driver with the initials F (33) was arrested on Wednesday (4/9) at around 17.00 WIB on Jalan Kerang Bangkirai.
"We arrested the perpetrator in less than 1x24 hours. The perpetrator is now being placed in the Palangka Raya Police Detention Center for further investigation," said Ronny, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, September 5.
He said, apart from F, when the police were also trying to arrest another suspect with the initials AY.
"We continue to try to arrest other suspects, to provide a sense of security to the community," he said.

For his actions, suspect F is now subject to Article 170 of the Criminal Code with the threat of imprisonment for a maximum of 7 years in prison.
"I ask the perpetrator AY to immediately surrender himself, not to let the police who pick him up forcibly because AY is a DPO in the case of persecution," said Ronny.
