Vice President Invites ISF Delegation To Create Sustainable-Inclusive Development
JAKARTA - Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin invited the Indonesian International Sustainability Forum (ISF) 2024 delegation to create more sustainable and inclusive global development.
"First, I invite world leaders to jointly optimize international cooperation in the field of green technology," said the Vice President in his remarks during the 2024 Gala Dinner in Jakarta as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, September 5.
He believes that with the support of all countries, both technically and financially the global transition to a low-carbon economy can be realized more fairly and evenly.
Second, the Vice President emphasized the need for synergy in formulating an inclusive and just global policy initiative
"The resulting initiative should have a guarantee of equitable sustainable economic development, especially for vulnerable communities," said the Vice President.
Third, the Vice President encourages the expansion of the role of international financial institutions in financing green projects in developing countries.
According to him, the ease of accessing the financing mechanism and the variety of schemes that can be offered will make a significant contribution to the sustainable economy and environmentally friendly economic growth
"Hopefully this activity will produce a real solution that will lead the international community to a prosperous and fair life," said the Vice President.
The 2024 ISF Forum is an official event for the Government of Indonesia for world leaders from various sectors and countries to be able to exchange ideas and knowledge while providing the best solutions and practices to face climate change.

The grand event which took place from 5-6 September 2024 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan, Jakarta includes a number of agendas ranging from the main sessions presenting key speakers, plenaries, thematics, high levels of dialogue, memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing, exhibitions to date dinners.
President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) when opening Indonesia ISF 2024 said the forum was an event to exchange ideas and knowledge, as well as provide the best global solutions and practices in facing climate change.
"I hope this ISF forum can be a place to meet knowledge, places to meet experiences, places to meet resources that can be shared capital in collaborating in facing existing climate challenges," said President Jokowi in his speech.
