Vivo V40 Officially Debuts In Indonesia, Prices Start Six Million
JAKARTA - Vivo, a leading smartphone brand in Indonesia, officially launched its newest V Series smartphone, vivo V40 5G, to the Indonesian market on Thursday, September 5.
Vivo V40 comes with three new color variants, namely Platinum Silver, Chrome Purple and Ceramic Peach. Like the previous series which had one Premium color, for this series, Chrome Purple became the premium color of V40.
Having a thickness of 7.58 mm, the vivo V40 carries a Gemini Ring camera module, which places all the cameras in one ring, inspired byICK Gemini.
"As a celebration of the 10th anniversary of vivo's presence in Indonesia, by introducing Vivo V40," said Fendy Tanjaya at the launch of Vivo V40 in Indonesia on Thursday, September 5 in Jakarta.
Furthermore, this smartphone has also pocketed IP68 and IP69 certifications based on IEC 60529 standards, where the V40 vivo can be submerged in freshwater at depths of up to 1.5 meters to 30 minutes, with a difference in temperature between water and devices of less than 5°C.
The vivo V40 battery also comes with a capacity of 5500mAh, and fast charging of up to 80 mAh. Where, this phone can charge from 0-100 percent with just 49 minutes.

With a battery of this size, the vivo V40 is claimed to be used to watch Youtube 16 hours, play games for up to 9 hours and listen to music for up to 63 hours.
Vivo V40 carries a screen with an AMOLED FHD+ panel measuring 6.78 inches designed by 3D Curved Screen. This screen is accompanied by 120Hz refresh rate technology with a screen brightness level of up to 4,500 nits.
