Transfer To Google Messages Causes Problems In Samsung's Made Messages Application

JAKARTA Samsung continues to encourage the use of Google Messages on several Galaxy phones, including its newest foldable phone. Unfortunately, this boost causes problems in Samsung's messaging app.

A number of Samsung Messages users, Samsung's default messaging app, have complained about performance issues after the company made Google Messages a default app. This issue is widely discussed on Reddit, citing from 9to5google.

When the Samsung Messages app is replaced with Google Messages on their devices, some users are annoyed that the Google-made messaging app is working very slowly. However, it seems they are not allowed to switch apps.

This default messaging application change has made the message starring or marked disappear. In addition, several chat rooms reportedly disappeared after the changes were released, even though the user never deleted them on purpose.

It is not yet known for certain whether this problem occurred due to a bug or was intentional by Samsung. However, many users believe that the company deliberately forced them to switch to Google Messages which is already the default app.

It is not known with certainty which devices are experiencing problems in Samsung Messages. However, a number of Reddit users who complained about the problem admitted that they were using the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Although Samsung has changed its default messaging app in some types of cellphones, the company does not delete Samsung Messages and users can still use its app. However, it is possible that Samsung will remove its app in the future.
