Hyundai Motors Indonesia Encourages Young People's Education Through The "Hyundai Jump School" Program

JAKARTA PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) has again shown its strong commitment to having a positive impact on the Indonesian people, especially in the field of education. One of the initiatives is the 'Hyundai Jump School,' program an innovative step that aims to empower the younger generation through the community of students who are guided by professional mentors.

This program is the result of collaboration between Hyundai Jump School Korea, HMID, University of Indonesia, and Wahana Visi Indonesia as implementing partners. By involving various parties, Hyundai hopes to create collaborative learning spaces, where participants can develop their potential with experienced mentors and mentors.

Woojune Cha, President Director of PT HMID, stated that this program is designed to open wider opportunities for young Indonesians in achieving a brighter future.

"Hyundai Jump School is here to support the development of the potential of the younger generation through innovative learning rooms, guided by professional mentors who are experts in their fields," he said in an official statement, Wednesday, September 4.

As a first step, Hyundai Jump School held a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the Sheraton Grand Hotel, Jakarta, together with the University of Indonesia and Wahana Visi Indonesia. This program is not only aimed at reducing social inequality, but also strengthening public integration through quality education.

In the first phase, this program will involve 50 students from the University of Indonesia who are chosen to participate. They will share knowledge and provide emotional support at seven local learning centers, including the Putra Village Orphanage and Nurrisef Learning Activity Studio, for 4 hours each week for 10 months.

Each participant will receive a scholarship of 1 million won (IDR 11.5 million), with the opportunity for the best to take the field trip to South Korea. There, they will get direct experience in Hyundai Motors Indonesia and Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Indonesia business operations.

To support the success of this program, Hyundai Jump School Indonesia will also involve 20 to 30 professional mentors from various backgrounds, including academics, community services, and HMID employees. These mentors will provide intensive guidance to program participants, which is expected to have a long-term positive impact on them and the surrounding community.

The Hyundai Jump School program will take place from September 2024 to June 2025, bringing great hope to boost growth and expand collaboration networks among Indonesia's young generation.
