According To Damage Conditions, Bogor Regency Government Distributes IDR 10-30 Million Aid To Damaged Houses As A Result Of The Tornado
The Bogor Regency Government, West Java noted that hundreds of houses suffered minor to severe damage due to the natural disaster of a tornado in Cimayang Village, Pamijahan, which occurred on Monday evening.Acting Regent of Bogor Suryanto Putra explained that currently the Department of Settlement and Land Housing (DPKPP) is conducting an assessment of houses affected by the disaster for assistance."Because the handling is according to conditions, starting from Rp. 10 million to Rp. 30 million," said Suryanto in Pamijahan, Antara, Tuesday, September 3.Based on temporary data, the number of houses suffered minor damage as many as 177 units, moderately damaged houses were 57 units, houses were heavily damaged as many as 10 units.Head of the Emergency and Logistics Division of the Bogor Regency BPBD, M Adam Hamdani, said that the tornado in Cimayang Village, Pamijahan, claimed two lives.Adam revealed that the two victims were Pendi (45) and Wanto (40). Both died after being crushed by the rubble of the building."In addition to Pendi and Wanto, four other victims were injured. The total victims were six people. Currently, they have been taken to Leuwiliang Hospital," said Adam.The unfortunate incident occurred on Monday (2/9) evening during the weather in most areas of Bogor Regency experiencing heavy rain accompanied by strong winds.
"The victims in handling the ER at Leuwiliang Hospital, namely Suyoto, Iman Gojali, Tofik, and Wiwaluyo," he said.
