Leadership Of The DPR Religious Commission Praises Pope Francis' Simplicity

JAKARTA - Commission VIII of the DPR RI welcomes the arrival of Pope Francis, who is the Head of the Vatican City State as well as the Head of the Holy See Government to Indonesia. The DPR hopes that Pope Francis' visit can strengthen tolerance between religious communities, both in Indonesia and in the world.

"It is an honor for our nation, the Indonesian people, to have the honor of Pope Francis' visit, the Supreme Leader of Catholic Religion," said Deputy Chairman of Commission VIII Ace Hasan Syadzily, Tuesday, September 3.
