Honda Officially Introduces HR-V E: HEV Facelift For European And UK Markets, Sold Starting This Month

JAKARTA - Recently, Honda brought a facelift version of HR-V e:HEV for the British market after its twin model Vezel also got an update for the Japanese market earlier this year.

Launching from Carscoops, Tuesday, September 3, the visuals have not changed much since the current generation debuted in 2021. However, the most prominent part is the goal that is redesigned by giving a more assertive look.

The front bumper features a lower intake with a lighting unit featuring fresh LED graphics.

Meanwhile, the manufacturer with the 'H' logo also presents a new trim called Advance Style Plus which is postulated above from other variants. This type offers a panoramic glass roof, body-colored accents, rolling cryptal black, and an 18-inch rim set.

Moving to the inside, there is a digital cockpit with a 7-inch instrument cluster and a 9-inch infotainment. The changes lie in the center console carrying section that gives access to wireless chargers and improves ergonomic elements.

Other changes include additional sound damping materials and standard privacy glasses. Then, this SUV retains a distinctive back Magic Seats that can be folded evenly or reversely.

The latest Honda HR-V e:HeV also gets qualified safety equipment such as the addition of the Multi View Camera System and improvements to the Traffic Jam Assist.

This car is powered by a 1.5 liter i-VTEC gasoline engine combined with a double electric motor and fixed-gear transmission, resulting in a combined 129 dk output and 253 Nm torque channeled to the front wheels. With this powertrain, this SUV can run from 0 to 100 km/hour in just 10.6 seconds.

Assisted by lithium-ion batteries, this car offers a comfortable experience with efficient fuel consumption reaching 5.4 l/100 km according to the WLTP cycle.

In order to support driving needs, Honda provides a smart Electronic Control Unit feature by providing three driving modes, such as Electric Drive, Hybrid Drive, and Autosystemed Engine Drive according to driving characteristics.

Facelift version of HR-V e:HeV sales will begin this month in Europe and the UK at a price to be announced approaching its launch to the public.
