Entering Malaysia, GWM Haval H6 HEV Sold Cheaper Than Indonesia
JAKARTA - The Great Wall Motor (GWM) officially opened an order for the Haval H6 Hybrid model for the Malaysian market, before its official launch which will take place in the third quarter of this year.
Quoting from the Paultan page, Tuesday, September 3, this Chinese brand opened an order for Haval H6 Hybrid with an estimated price of around 145,000 ringgit or around Rp515 million.
This model will later become the first locally assembled vehicle by the EPMB in Melaka. Previously, the specifications of this model had been disclosed at the beginning of the year, and it was also exhibited for the first time at the Malaysia Autoshow in May.
For the Malaysian market, the Haval H6 Hybrid is offered in two variants, starting from the highest standards and trims. Both will be equipped with the same hybrid driving system.
In more detail, this one model will be equipped with a four-cylinder 1.5 liter turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 150 ps and 230 Nm of power, and its electric motor produces 117 ps and 330 Nm of power integrated into a two-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT).
On the exterior, both of them are also equipped with a 'Star Matrix' goal flanked by two LED lights, besides that for the standard or basic variant equipped with an 18-inch rim, and the highest variant uses a 19-inch rim.
Entering the cabin, what distinguishes the two variants is on the side of the chair and dashboard where the standard variant only offers two black and white colors, while the highest variant is covered in black with silver stitches.
In addition, both of them also come with the same technological equipment, such as a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment display. And equipped with dual zone climate control, wireless charging to eight-speaker audio systems.
Meanwhile, the higher variant is also equipped with a panoramic sunset, head up display. Safety equipment is equipped with a series of ADAS.
This model itself was present in Indonesia at the beginning of the year and priced at IDR 648 million, which is also equipped with a myriad of safety technologies including, i Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Track Control System (TCS), Anti-Rollover System (ARS), Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM), to Lane Keeping Assist (LCA).
