BRI Liga 1 Successfully Creates Money Turnover Of Up To IDR 10.42 Trillion

JAKARTA - The 2024 2025 BRI Liga 1 football competition which has been going on since August 9, 2024, raises hope for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) throughout Indonesia.

Deputy President Director of BRI Catur revealed that in addition to increasing the exposure of BRI services and products, other factors for the company support the BRI Liga 1 2024 2025 event cannot be separated from the economic factors created.

"With the start of the BRI Liga 1 competition, it is projected to create a turnover of Rp10.42 trillion and an added value of Rp5.93 trillion. This is based on the results of the latest research conducted by the BRI Research Institute which was released in July 2024," he said in a statement to the media, Monday, September 2.

In addition, there is an additional income for workers' households of Rp2.27 trillion, the potential for indirect tax revenue for the government is Rp866 billion and the creation of work opportunities is around 45,000 people.

"Based on the results of this research, we project that the BRI Liga 1 competition for the 2024-2025 season will also have an economic positive impact on its main stakeholders to revive the people's economic chain and increase the income of MSME actors," explained Catur.

BRI certainly hopes that the BRI Liga 1 competition can have a positive impact on the climate of national football competitions, so that this league can produce talented young talents who will encourage Indonesian football achievements on the global stage.

Catur added that BRI hopes that this year's competition event can run smoothly, and can continue to improve in quality.

"As we feel together, the continued improvement in the achievements of the Indonesian football national team which is currently being achieved cannot be separated from the resummation of the BRI Liga 1 competition which is also getting better," he added.
