Commitment To Support The Development Of Indonesian Football, MNC Extends Cooperation With AFC Until 2028
JAKARTA - The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has officially determined an extension of cooperation with PT Media Nusantara Citra (MNC) Media & Entertainment. In this period, the duration of the contract has a long term of 2025-2028.
The cooperation extension agreement between MNC and AFC is said to be a form of commitment to advance the development of Indonesian football from various aspects, from the club level to the Indonesian national team.
This was revealed by the Programming Director of PT MNC TBK, Dini Putri. In a press conference in Jakarta on Monday, September 2, 2024, he said the extension of this collaboration was a tangible form of support for the development of Indonesian football.

"We continue this collaboration because it has been established since 2007 and this is a tangible form of us in the development of Indonesian football. We are trying to present facilities in the best broadcast from the club to the Indonesian national team level," said Dini Putri.
MNC will also include the screening of all Indonesian national team competitions in the AFC event including the Asian 'Road to 26, Australia's 2026 Women's Asian Cup, 2027 Saudi Arabia Asian Cup, 2026-2028 U-23 Asian Cup, and other AFC competitions.
AFC Secretary-General Datuk Seri Windsor John also said that this collaboration would add to the appeal in terms of the AFC tournament because it would cover more audiences.
"The long-term partnership between AFC and MNC further strengthens the world-class appeal and status of the AFC tournament. We would like to thank MNC for their continued trust in Asian football," said Datuk Seri Windsor John.
"We hope to present more historic moments to millions of football lovers, especially in Indonesia, Timor-Leste, and Papua New Guinea so that Asian football continues to reach more fans from all over the Asian continent," he said in a statement.
