Deka Sari Perkasa Boss Rachmat Djangkar Asks KPK To Reschedule
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) canceled examining the President Director of PT Deka Sari Perkasa, P. Rachmat Utama Djangkar as a witness on Friday, August 30. He should have been questioned in a corruption case at the Semarang City Government, Central Java.
"The PRUD witness asked to be rescheduled on Monday," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Saturday, August 31.
Tessa's PRUD did not specify the reasons. The examination should have been carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.
As for this case, PRUD has been investigated twice by the investigating team. As a result, he was examined on Wednesday, July 31 and as a examinee on Friday, August 2.
The KPK has started the investigation of three alleged corruption crimes within the Semarang City Government (Pemkot). The details are the procurement of goods and services within the Semarang City Government in 2023-2024, the alleged extortion of civil servants related to incentives for collecting taxes and levies in the Semarang City area, as well as the alleged receipt of gratuities in 2023-2024.

In this case, the Mayor of Semarang Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu or Mbak Ita and three other people have been prevented from leaving the country for six months. They are her husband who is also the Chairman of Commission D of the Central Java DPRD, Alwin Basri; Chairman of the Association of Indonesian National Construction Implementers (Gapensi) Semarang City, Martono; and Rahmat Djangkar who is a private party.
