Bali Police Implement Traffic Engineering During The IAF Summit In Nusa Dua

Bali Regional Police (Polda) implemented traffic engineering in the Nusa Dua area, Badung Regency to support the safety and smooth implementation of the 2nd Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF) Summit and the High Level Forum on Multi Stakeholders Partnership (HLF MSP) 2024.

The Head of Public Relations of the Bali Police, Kombes Jansen Avitus Panjaitan, said that traffic engineering in the form of diversion to open lane closures situationally will be enforced for four days from Sunday (31/8) to Tuesday (3/9).

"The Walrolakir Task Force (guarding, routes, patrols and parking) will implement traffic engineering for the smooth running of this event, so that all community activities, tourists and delegates and state guests can run well," said Jansen.

Jansen explained that for the gala dinner activities of the head of state and the delegation of the 2nd IAF Summit which took place at the Intercontinental Bali Resort on Sunday (1/9), his party will impose a diversion and also open and close lanes in the area.

"On the Jimbaran Highway section, it will be diverted or temporarily open and close to the Jimbaran Intersection. For traffic flow regulation, we will see the situation," he said.

In addition, roads that are a priority in traffic engineering for the next four days, starting from the Udayana University Campus Intercontinental area to the Bali Resort area.

The traffic flow at the Udayana Jimbaran University Campus Intersection will be diverted to Ngurah Rai Bypass Street.

He hopes that the public can pay attention to information on diversion or closure of lanes, especially in Nusa Dua, Badung Regency to support the Indonesia-Africa High Level Conference for the 2nd Forum in 2024.
