KPK Asks Kaesang To Bring Evidence Of Paying Private Jets When Clarified
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has asked President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) son, Kaesang Pangarep, to prove that he paid for the private jet used to the United States. He can bring proof of payment when clarified by the Directorate of Gratification of the KPK.
"We hope that when making clarifications or anything accompanied by evidence, please. For example, 'I pay myself, you know, this is proof of the transfer'," said KPK Deputy Chair Alexander Marwata to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday, August 30.
"So what? Clear, please," he continued.
Alexander emphasized that this evidence is important so that Kaesang can prove that the use of the aircraft is not facilitated by other parties. This method is also expected to stop polemics in the community.
"So that people who question it make social media very crowded today become brightened. Oh, yes, already if it is paid, payment is there and so on, if it is part of the business facility, it will be finished, like that," he explained.
Alexander emphasized that the clarification process had no other purpose. Alexander said everything was for the common good even though he had not detailed the timing of the implementation.
"The letter is under concept, an invitation letter," said the former judge.

Erina at that time did not only upload the moment of boarding a plane to the United States. He also uploaded a photo of eating bread for Rp. 400 thousand and a baby streller allegedly for tens of millions of rupiah.
The two were also highlighted after allegedly carrying luxury groceries from the United States without Customs and Excise checks. In the video circulating, both of them got off the Gulfstream N568SE jet directly to the Toyota Alphard car parked on the plane's apron.
