Jordi Is Very Sad To Cancel Defending The Indonesian National Team Due To Injuries
JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team defender, Jordi Amat, is confirmed to be absent from defending the team in the Third Round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. This happened because the player was still recovering from injury.
The Indonesian national team will start the Third Round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification by traveling to Saudi Arabia headquarters on September 5, 2024. For that match, Shin Tae-yong as the head coach has called 26 players.
However, Jordi Amat's name is not on the list of players who started training camp (TC) on Thursday, August 29, 2024. The reason is that Jordi's condition has not fully recovered from injury.
Jordi also expressed his sadness at not being able to join the Garuda Squad. Through uploads on his personal Instagram account, Jordi has tried his best condition, but circumstances say otherwise.
