Taeyeon Becomes Sam Smith Collaborator For Im Not The Only One New Version
JAKARTA - The singer-songwriter from England, Sam Smith, involves Kim Taeyeon (Girl's Generation) as a collaborator to present a new version of his debut hit entitled I'm Not the Only One.
Through Instagram Story, Sam Smith informed that the latest version of Im Not the Only One has been officially released and can be heard on digital streaming services (DSP).
In the new version, Taeyeon starts the song with the first verse that is changed to Korean. Furthermore, the leader of Girl's Generation sang the first chorus of the song using English original lyrics.
Then, Sam Smith took over the song. The 32-year-old singer sang the second verse until the second chorus.
On the bridge, the two sang alternately, Taeyeon in Korean and Sam Smith in English.

The new version of Im Not the Only One is part of the tenth anniversary of Sam Smith's debut album with the title In the Lonely Hour which was released in 2014.

In addition to the album, Sam Smith has also released three other studio albums, namely The Thrill of It All (2017), Love Goes (2020), and Gloria (2023).
