Meta Develop Mixed Reality Glasses, Alternative To Heavy MR Headset

JAKARTA After successfully developing smart glasses with Ray-Ban, Meta is now making mixed reality glasses (MR). Reportedly, these glasses will be much larger than Ray-Ban's glasses. Reporting from the report The Information, this device is being developed with the Rulein code. It is not known exactly what this new device looks like, but Meta will make it look like a small MR device that looks like a large glasses. If this project is successful, Meta will launch its MR glasses in 2027. It seems that this device weighing about 110 grams will be a replacement for the high-end MR headset whose development has been stopped. Not much information can be obtained from glasses with thiswahin code. The Information only gets small leaks like Meta that have to make adjustments because they have to put advanced components into small glasses.

Other rumors say that these glasses will be equipped with pancake lenses so that the device has a slim profile. These glasses will also have a passthrough video so that users can mix views inside and outside the screen. Meta will add hand and eye trackers so users can easily control the screen on the glasses. There is a possibility these glasses will have an external package that includes batteries and processors, similar to the Apple Vision Pro. These glasses will probably replace the well-known heavy and uncomfortable MR headset for use over a long period of time. If these glasses are successfully developed, Meta may achieve the same success as the launch of Ray-Ban smart glasses.
