TNI Deploys Dozens Of Rantis And 4 KRI Support IAF And HLF MSP In Bali

JAKARTA - The TNI Headquarters deployed dozens of tactical vehicles (rantis) and four warships from the Republic of Indonesia (KRI) to support the implementation of two world-class events in Bali, namely the High Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholder Partnership (HLF MSP) and the 2nd Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF) in Bali.

The TNI Information Center (Puspen) explained that the four KRIs are KRI Banda Aceh-593, KRI Teluk Cirebon-543, KRI dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat-992, and KRI dr. Soeharso-990 arrived in Tanjung Benoa, Bali, Wednesday, and has deployed troops, as well as tactical vehicles that will be used to secure state guests and other VVIP guests in the two events.

The types of rantis transported using the four KRIs include special vehicles (ransus) CBRNE Sprinter 516, ransus lidik kizi nubika, chamber vehicles (students), Anoa fighting vehicles, special vehicles for removing Ivader+bomb trailer explosives, electric motors, electric cars, sea riders+truck towings, "said the statement of the TNI Puspen as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 28.

Several special vehicles arrived in Tanjung Benoa today, such as the CBRNE Sprinter 516, are intended for handling the threat of biology, chemistry, radiology, and nuclear.

The vehicle is operated by the Indonesian Army Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Engineer Detachment (Nubika). Meanwhile, electric vehicles and motorbikes will be used to support the operation of the TNI Military Police (POM) during the event.

Several warships deployed by the TNI for security and evacuation also functioned as hospital aid vessels, namely KRI dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat and KRI dr. Soeharso. The warships will patrol around Bali waters, including the Bali Strait and the Lombok Strait.

Then, the Regional Military Command (Kodam) IX/Udayana also prepared 3,000 soldiers to secure state guests and VVIP in Bali during the 2nd HLF MSP and IAF which took place simultaneously in Bali, on 1-3 September 2024

Pangdam IX/Udayana Maj. Gen. Muhammad Zamroni, who is also serving as Commander of the Regional Security Task Force, stated that his troops were ready to support the security of the two world-class activities.

"For us, duty is honor. The highest honor is when tasks can be carried out successfully, safely, and smoothly," said Pangdam IX/Udayana to his ranks of soldiers during an assembly of troops in Denpasar, Tuesday (27/8).
